Nexus S i9020 IMEI and EFS repair - how?im out of ideas.

Imei is 004999010640000 no EFS backup available
Z3X supports both imei and efs repair but how to do that if the software needs the phone connected in usb modem mode?
here is a log
Count supported models - 290
Starting ADB Server... OK
Checking ROOT... FALSE
Reading Phone Info... OK
Android Version: 2.3.1
Model: Nexus S
Product Code: Not Active
Phone Version: I9020XXKB1
IMEI: 004999010640000
Rooting Phones... OK
Reading Data From Phone... OK
Writing Data To Phone... OK
Searching Samsung USB Modem... Not Found
Done with Samsung Tool ver 11.9

is there any patched firmware that will allow to enter test mode to change the connection settings like we do in many samsung phones?
or someone knows how to do it in other way.
Searched forums websites support sections and nothing found.

I also add that checked all possible ways phone rooted bootloader unlocked with PDAnet and w/o checked on almost every rom version available including ICS

SPT supports this operations by patched firmware but i allways preffered z3x.

Please help...Thanks

USB Deb...ing enabled otherwise phone will not connect to ADB once the repair process started.
Standard codes like *#9090# do not work.

the only code that works on this phone is *#*#4636#*#* but its only for info about battery usage wifi phone info etc

Nexus s does not have an KIES mode to select and codes like *#1234# not work on this phone.
If z3x team implementet option to repair imei and efs in their software there must be a way to connect it in modem mode but how?
I treid UART cables from z3x nspro even from vygis - not working .

philzfog16 if its not supported in z3x then why in version 10.7 states that first in the world imei and efs repair for i9020 & i9023 (beta).if its not supported he should inform that one of his updates will not work.
Thats how i see it anyway.

shak360 with all do respect did u even read the first post? You are asking question that u have answer for allready...all the answers for your questions are in the first post of this topic.i described everything as best as i could so please read it carefully and then maybe try to help...
Yes SPT supports this operation but as i stated dont have spt as preffer z3x.but looks like its time to change tools.
