You don't need to wipe efs on verizon phone, just write cert it will go through. It's highly suggested to NOT wipe the efs on Verizon or Sprint phones..you may, but it's not recommended.

Yeah I understand bro, same here I've done this on the Note 3 variants as well

On newer devices though, it's not recommended...
