i install driver for phone, put sim card in, turn phone on, connect to wifi, wait until it shows google account then start the dialer programs. etc. is this right

im using an active sim card. but does it have to have service before this to work . Or will wifi work.

The SIM does not have to be activated. You need a SIM card from the original carrier of the phone. For example, if the phone is an AT&T phone, you need to use an AT&T SIM. WIFI will work perfectly.

are they a special way to downgrade. Im using odin but it keeps failing. I do the following commands:

Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.11.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

It always fail. might be bad firmware. will download again.

You need to download the exact same firmware .G930VVRU2APE1. This no box method can bypass your FRP. Just reflash your original firmware. You must be flashing the wrong firmware. You have to make sure not to upgrade your phone or the security patch is going to be harder to bypass. Make sure you stay at security level shown in red and not higher: G930VVRU2APE1.
