Please help!
I've just bought the z3x box, after activating the box, i run the qualcomm tool and plug the phone, click search, it says samsung qualcomm interface not found. Please show me step by step how to set up z3x box. thanks so much

how to use qualcomm tool? do i need to install dirver for phone before doing anything?

if you want work 1st choice models.
each models have different way for unlock, method.

When phone come to your hand, try unlock, if not success - use search button. 90% already discuss in forum.

Here detail info about account, i'm not sure the box is full activated or not.
when i run shell , click on card update tap, then click on wizard to read info about my account, then it gets the result below:

-samsung activation (activated 2009-11-10 added 2009-11-28)
-samsung qualcomm tool (extra) not available
-lg tooll not available
-.........

what calbe should i use , is it the calbe 2 in 1? if i use this cable , do i have to plug usb and RJ45 to the box's port at the same time? Please tell me step by step . Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your box is samsung box only.

full activated z3x box price arround 600 usd.

i told different phone differrent type of cable and instruction for unlock.

when you got phone in hand - check model and search something for this model in forum, before you will ask and will open new tread.

My box is samsung edition, before i bought this one from unlockcellular seller, i looked at the specs to decide buying it. I see it cover many qualcomm models that i have in hand from my customers. Could you please tell me what's different between edition and extra?

One more thing now i don't see samsung tool .exe after run shell and update card. only qualcomm and smartphone tool .exe been installed. Please helpppppppppppp!

Please read massages above! I'm so confused about this box, when i run the qualcomm tool, a lot models supported in select model drop down menue.
Ex: I connect the phone F480 to RJ45, nothing happen when i click search phone(samsung qualcomm interface not found), what is this issue?
Which port to be used? usb port or RJ45? If usb port, it asks for phone dirver, i did installed driver for it from c:\program file\z3x\samsung but could not go through.
If you need more info about box and my account, i'll give you in pv message.

you also use usb+rj45 then you look a modem driver install and then look your phone detected with the box then do anything as you want.

please read messages above, i did try to conect rf45 and usb same time, but could not install driver for phone from c\program\z3x\samsung, what else do i install from? there's no model in samsung folder.

i not see any log or any samsung model which you want unlock.

i told 3 times before for you: different models - different way of unlock.

What model exactly you want unlock or flash????

f480, f480v - qualcomm. Need use qualcomm tool. For flashing use only usb cable. connect phone setup drivers, choice firmware, press update firmware.
for unlock use usb and switch phone to qualcomm mode, or use 2in1 cable
and switch phone to samsung mode. If phone 2009 with new sec, need qualcomm mode + choice new sec+ read codes.

f480i,f480l, - broadcom. Need use Samsung 2g tool.

so what is rj45 for? if i use 2 in 1 cable, do i have to connect rj45 and usb to the box during unlock and flash process? or just usb only and leave rj45 aside? could you explain to me how and when to use (single or 2 in 1) cable first? i'd like to clear this before doing anything else.
