Not 2 SGH-T889 IMEI Repair shows success, but IMEI not changed - GSM-Forum

Z3X says operation successful, but IMEI not changed. I rooted and tried again, same result.

Anyone have an idea on this? As previously stated, IMEI repair shows successful, but no change. I have wiped EFS and tried to repair IMEI, but same problem. I was able to restore the original EFS/QCN, so right back to where I started.

Try with a much lower, lower, lower z3x update.

Tried with Pro 26.8 and also old 20.8 regular Samsung Tool, same problem.
