Member: 1486828 Status: Offline Sonork: pcs1234 Thanks Meter: 53 | i had the same phone last week and i rooted using CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.then i unlocked the phone, seems to be ok ,but the imei had changed in the process,i managed to change the imei mumber back with z3x box , with ease .but many peopla have been having problems changing the imei. My advice is downgrade to 4.0.4,(then root) then unlock. Then upgrade back to 4.1.1. A really good site to get the firware and correct version is http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9300....very easy to flash with odin.. |

Member: 1705542 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | i9300 unlock success Unlocking of Galaxy S3 i9300 updated to Android 4.1.X Jelly Bean could be obtained with Samsung Tool 13.4 and only prerequisite is nothing but root either with cf-root-6.4 (outdated method but I personally used it) or cf-autoroot (more clean method) both developed by @Chainfire (do not forget to buy him a beer or two for great facilitation process of rooting for whole family of Samsung devices) Quote:
