Recent AT&T update relocks m150
"This phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked"
Nothing works with a non AT&T SIM.

Android Version 7.0
Kernel Version 3.10.49
Build Number NRD90U
Software Version M15020l

Please advise....

Yes, I did but nothing changed even though "unlock done."
I tested with an activated AT&T SIM card but ditto, phone didn't work at all.
Mobile network grayed out.

It's not just my particular case but a GENERAL ISSUE and this kind of update may spread to other models...

I thought "direct unlock" was permanent and turns out it's not. I wouldn't have used it if I had known this fact. Is it permanent to input an unlock code?

Do you try put sim card in phone?

All LG phones after unlock show permanent locked. This is normal lock state. Show unlock log here.

I have same problem,
Before it was asking for a code when I put not-accepted simcard, I direct unlock using z3x LG, it was succesful, Cient can make an sms and call, but after a week it came back with message:

"this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked"

Tried to unlocked again, it was successful but still locked. Tried with "getprop | grep sim" it shows same logs, any further update on this sir andrew?

i sugest to try to downgrade the compilation, to an older one, porblem is this will triger downgrade protection and will kill the boot in the emmc, i know you guys can dump this firmware and find out where the new protection is located and find a way to remove it with out bricking the device, if you wish i can dump the rom with security files for you.
