Refurbished N7100 with I317 pcb inside..... - GSM-Forum

Hi there ...... lately i have been recieving lots of Refurbished Samsung phones.....

mostly with generic model number on the back sticker, but inside there is either international version of the phone or a Korean version of it... (E.G : N7100 on the sticker and i371 pcb inside)

The problem is once i received such a phone for upgrade but when i started the phone in Download mode it had Same product name as on sticker ....

Means N7100 on product name and even on the back sticker.....

So i went further with the upgrade and flashed it with N7100 4.4.2 version flash file with Odin .......

But it just failed every time i flashed it......

Now its just stuck on Software failure screen......

When i opened the phone i was surprised to see it had I317 pcb inside......

How could it be that they are able to change the product name and why am i unable to flash it with N7100 or I317 firmware....

Now im stuck and the customer wants me to pay for the phone ......

any one facing such issue

can you share here the error using i317 firmware use and flash with pit file

best way write rom1 + rom2 via direct emmc (ISP)
