no need root

1. Power on phone.
2. Switch phone USB connection to PC Suite on: menu>phone settings>usb mode.
3. Enable debugging on: menu>application settings>development..
4. Connect cables and setup drivers. (Use i7500 drivers for this phone)
5. Select Diagnostic port in port settings
6. Press imei Repair button.
