Member: 1801804 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Same phone, same problem I've used various rooting techniques and exploits including Gingerbreak, SuperOneClick, ZergRush, Z4, etc and none work. My thinking is that there will need to be an unsigned kernel made for this phone before it can be rooted and then in your case unlocked. Where this phone is very new, I imagine it'll be a few weeks before any serious effort is made to root this phone. XDA is a good place to check regularly and as per googling it, don't bother. This is the top result and there are a few from Ask.com that are worthless then a bunch of B.S. websites trying to offer "FREE THIS" and "FREE THAT". Just sit tight. I'm sure there will be a root guide by mid September. If I do manage to get mine rooted, I'll totally come back here and post a how-to. Until then, cheers.  |
