S5233w Succesfull Repair BOOT with Z3x

What is the reasons why phone's boot is damage?

-maybe flash with wrong firmware
-boot has been written with other boot?
-Maybe while Upgrading error has been occured?
-

in S5233w if it is written by the other firmware for example S5230 the phone will become dead and you wont be able to detect it again in normal plugging of usb,

When i check the phone i recieved its totally dead, my pc wasnt able to detect it...
so the solution is repair boot with z3x



in my case i encounter error a lot of time,
then then i try this, --->the moment i press the boot butoon, i press the power on key right away, then i wait for the message "to UNPRESS THE KEY" then release it

Connect phone and press power on 10 second
Start repair boot zone type 1...
Unpress power button on phone !
Repair  - boot ok
Elapsed time: 24 second, sw ver: 3.4.0033

after succesfully repair the boot,
the phone now will on but with orange screen, its normal because your phone maybe has a blank program on it (not sure)
Now since the phone has power you can now put it to download mode again by pressing Volume down + Cam + power on
then flash it with the S5233w file
i use multiloader to flash the phones file with S5233w files...

Download Start Ch[0]
Amss 29622.3KB OK[80.4s]
Rsrc1 39220.1KB OK[83.7s]
Rsrc2 525.7KB OK[1.2s]
FFS 38669.8KB OK[85.6s]
All files complete[252.0s]

then after flashing this file your phone will power but with yellow screen again (seems nothing happen) its okey,
the reason why it was on that mode because the boot of the phone hasnt been change yet,
so this time we need to change the boot of the phone by flashing the boot of S5233w file

i use multiloader again.




after flashing the boot the phone now will power on but this time normal mode


so thats my procedure:

so what can you say now about your EXPENSIVE SAMSUNG J-TAG?
its no match with my z3x =))


i thought J-tag is one of the best coz its very much expensive?

hi,
did the repair boot shows success?

security fail error message has many different reason,
maybe battery low, maybe connection error,
file not correct,

so if you will show some screenshot that will help

Need update Z3X team.S5233w its not same with 5233,phone will dead,,i prefer using another tool without write boot for that phone..btw i have some problem,i finished with U*S HW*,,more simple n save time..

i wasnt sure which radio to choose ... and the radio button u have on ur screenshots is bad ... u must choose brcm2133 .

flash phone include boot file.

and tick the change boot using multi loader...

see the last picture of my thread...

I said that after flashing the phone will comes to yellow display, its normal since you didnt include the boot file on flashing,

Now flash only the Boot file
