s8000 unlock via patch how to do for beginers.

sometimes working out how to unlock via patch is not easy to do if youre new like me so going to explain in easy steps took me 4 hours to sus this out hope it helps someone like me who never done this before


step 1......select s8000 from shell use the samsung 3gtool 7.2.1 thats what it is at the moment.
step 2...... connect youre phone in flash mode press the camera button on the bottom right of phone as you look at it and the volume button on the left side at the bottom of button (eg turning volume down) then once these two are held together press the power button as well and hold all 3 together, this should now be in flash mode.

step 4....go to the zx3 forum on the shell press show more futures at the left hand bottom of shell,this will then show you the right side of shell with updates available etc..press go to support bottom right side ,this will now take you to forum .
step 5..... go into samsung folder click samsung file you will see a list of folders go down to firmwire..click on it a list of all samsung phones /folders are shown go down to s8000 click it it will open up choose the file s8000 patch unlock,now click it and it will download the file,in winrar form,once downloaded click on file at the top of winrar you will see extract to click it ,it will bring you up a list of places you can download it to ,i put mine in downloaded files.

step.....6.. once extracted to youre location.. on the zx3 software you will see under the phone picture is manual written and below that is a word sayin CRP..along the line on the right hand side is a folder click on it it will now take you to find the flashed patched file you just downloaded..click on it ,this will set it up to flash on the z3x software on screen make sure you connect youre s8000 phone in flash mode all ready on the phone(screen will have this on it if in flash mode to get this remember step 2...... connect youre phone in flash mode press the camera button on the bottom right of phone as you look at it and the volume button on the left side at the bottom of button (eg turning volume down) then once these two are held together press the power button as well and hold all 3 together, this should now be in flash mode.

step7..... now on the right side of z3x software on screen click on update firmwire this will send over the patched s8000 firmwire in 5 stages should take about 5/6 minutes ,wait until it is done...............

step 8....now press unlock direct and phone will now be unlocked in 10 seconds maximum.

step 9...unplug youre phone put a diffrent network sim in turn on and bobs youre uncle ***** is youre arnt..phone should be unlock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hope this helps someone as sometimes the instructions given on forum can sometimes be short and sweet and to a ewbie CONFUSSING!!!! good luck,and good karma to you all xx

actually your guide is not complete and is not right..

after flashing patched firmware and doing unlock/imei repair MUST again flash with other fw from support

simply because patched firmware is NOT stable firmware..

use the SEARCH button and check correct process for s8000 unlock with z3x.

many times is written patch fw not stable.. eg can lead to freezing etc etc, keys not working etc etc.

please SEARCH

for your info flash non patch firmware now to phone and phone will be working perfect and unlocked...

also is better to do read codes than direct unlock as then you have freeze code also....

good guide, glad Ive got some confirmation about new firmware afterwards. Every one I've unlocked has then frozen when given back. Any suggestions as to which firmware to flash the second time?

just flash it with the firmwire that is the same in the support section but does not have the word patch unlock on the end of it.............glad to see this post has helped another user..let me no how you get on all the best..............
