I Believe user has tried to imei repair but resulted in a bad imei or as u call it a prototype

try selecting model as i9000 and doing imei repair

no if any unit comes with that imei then its means its a swap unit.

it is not a prototype

all samsungs android have this problem, imei become 00499xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

he must repair imei.

phone must be rooted
