S8500 and Read Headinfo Fail

Phone is after erasing / resurection and write S8500XEJH2 fullflash then S8500_XEJH2_Patched_for_Unlock_and_IMEI_v2.crp

You can try IMEI Repair first?
Maybe you have an efs coruption.

Yes, I try repair IMEI as log above but unfortunately error incoming. Maybe EFS, I don't know. Phone was erased with JTAG then resurrecting and upgrading FW to bada 1.2. How check if EFS is damaged or how repair ?

1. Maybe the phone has a hardware problem. I read that if I9100 has a blank IMEI can be a crack in the chip RFIC (U100).

2. If is not an hw problem, maybe the best thing is to try full dump from an working S8500 EFS and write it in the damaged phone with JTAG. I am new to this so I cant say much about. I only read about this kind of solution. If work then try to repair the IMEI with z3x.

3. I think downgradeing z3x software is not a solution. Try only with 12.4

4. After writing that patch firmware always do a factory reset with *2767*3855#

Thanks for reply. I tryed write full dump from working phones - 4 different dumps .. Phone was freezed at Bada logo. For now I need restore only IMEI but a lot of errors with Z3X. HW is not for 100% because phone was work before customer give me for upgrade to Bada 2.0

I saw on the forum that upgradeing with z3x is problematic, so the best choice is Multiloader 5.67 for writing the firmware with Boot Change and Full Download checked.

When you are stuck at Bada logo maybe you have an option to wipe cache if it has that option and recovery mode. I didn't get may hands on to many Bada phones so I am not an expert
I just know that upgradeing to Bada 2.0 is a big problem. Many phones are fried at this stupid upgrade

Right mate. But for IMEI repair i need to flash special patch file signed as *.crp known only for Z3X. flashing progress is correctly in both cases - with oryginal FW files and patch file. The point is why errors when trying repair IMEI. Any advice experts ?

You solved this phone? I'm in the same situation with S8500 and remains in Bada logo!

Yes, solved. By a lot of hours spend behind computer and lost hairs from head.

And if is not a secret,how did you repair your s8500?
I have one which is giving me problems,hang on bada logo,try all version(1.0,1.2,2.0).Now I erased with riff,flashing dump from riff data exchange...waiting your answer how to proceed after that...
