Using micro uart cable does the trick. Took a few attempts to connect in tat mode. Make certain cable is well inserted into phone's connection/port and then press power on.. Phone will be unlocked. When you insert different sim card, phone will come up with network code required window. Just insert 8 zero's and phone will be unlocked.

This is the Second c3300k that I've attempted to unlock. Thank goodness it eventually worked/unlocked
