On Saturday, I successfully restored my alpha (g850f).
In my case, IMEI was the default 0049 .... - after recording EFS (EFS_SM-G850F_G850FXXU2ANI3_004999010640000_R58F91P685B_1-1-2015_19-46-41 - Download - 4shared) - I got zero IMEI (00000 .....) in my case. And I got the same error with the certificate of entry.
After I restored my EFS from backup - back to the default 0049 ..... and successfully wrote the certificate.

Yes, it does. But the Octopus doesnt support to write G850A over UART port.Because G850A cant root,we need to wipe EFS over menu and need to write CERT after that by UART cable.Im already request on another port that next update hope they will add it on
