1. Put the phone in USB Debug mode (Applications -> Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Debugging USB). 2.

Connect your phone to your PC. In doing so while in USB Debug mode, Windows will detect a new device and will ask

drivers. The easiest is to download (SAMSUNG KIES) and installed it previously, so the drivers will be found in the system

and no longer asked to connect the phone, then install them automatically. If you do not want to install Kies, which is 135

MB download, you can try (I got but not tested) with these drivers for Windows 32 bit (mirror) or Windows 64 bit (mirror),

but again, I have not tried I do not know if they work. 3. Download the application "Samsung S One-Click Galaxy Root for AT

& T Captivate by TGA_Gunnman" for Windows or Mac OS X 10.5 or later (I have not tested this). Once downloaded, unzip

the file in any folder. 4. You need to have installed Microsoft. NET Framework 4.0 to run One-Click. If you can not do it from

here or from Windows Update. 5. Go to the folder where you unzipped One-Click. Run the program "AT & T One-Click

root.exe Captivate" and click the button that says "One-Click Root." The phone will reboot and just boot into Recovery

Console mode and displays several options. Lower the volume button until the option that says "apply sdcard: update.zip"

and click the Start button (large square). Will restart the phone again and you start in normal mode. We are now Root. 6.

Download the application ROOT MANAGER (Market also find) and install it on your mobile. Open it and click where it says

"Remount / system as r / w". Exit the application. 7. SGS_UNLOCK download and install on your mobile. (You will find in the

market. Search for "Galaxy S Unlock Samsung Tool. The search finds two with the same name, but it works is the second,

which says" For ONLY FroYo !!!"). Run the application and within two seconds will give us the Unlock code and Unfreeze code.

The release of the mobile code is the Unlock code. 8. Take out your SIM card and insert a card of any operator. When you

turn the phone will ask for the unlock code. Enter the 8 digit Unlock code and READY! Already have your mobile phone free.
