I WAS ABLE TO REPAIR DOING THE FOLLOWING:

1- connect USB cable,
2- Repair Options : COM Port

4-Click on repair, after recognizing the phone, and started the process, the phone goes to REBOOT.
5- CONNECT the phone via UART RJ45 cable, while the box is waiting for the system to reboot .
after this it recognize it, and FINISHED THE IMEI REPAIR!!

micro-uart cable: (use if you have "Searching Samsung modem ... not foud" or "No answer from phone" errors.)
1. Phone must be powered on.
2. Enable "USB debugging" in "Settings"-"Aplications"-"Development" ("Settings"-"Developer options" for Android 4.0+).
3. Check "com-port" in repair options.
4. Choose correct com-port in Port settings.
4. Connect the phone to PC via micro-USB cable.
5. Press "Repair" button.
6. In opened window fill fields what you need to repair and check "Repair EFS" only if you need to repair it.
7. Press "OK".
8. After phone reboot, when you have "Checking phone at COM" massage, connect phone to micro-uart cable.

when .WAITING FOR MODEM TO BE READY

then conect phone on uart cable on z3x port select

Flash it with stock firmware lower version then use octopus box repair efs and then repair imei with z3x lower version all will be ok

i have the same problem but my imei is null/null and the baseband unknown so what can i do....i have tried z3x but no luck....

To connect GT-I9100 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
4. When message is appear press "Yes".
5. Go to dial window.
6. Enter "*#7284#" number.
7. Set "USB" radio button to "PDA" value.
8. Press Home button.
9. Go to dial window.
10. Enter "*#9090#" number.
11. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
12. Restart phone.
13. Press "Read Info" in software.
