Samsung i9300 Demo Unit

i got and S3 demo unit
all the features on phone working as it should,except GSM

is there a way to unlock it?

usernome is trying to say that you don't have the GSM antena on the PCB of that phone. Onlye way to make it work is to change the PCB and is very expensive.
So ther is nothing to unlock in that phone. If you entar *#7465625# you will see the message that is unlocked.

under shields you will see don't have diplexer and some filters with small pieces around.
second don't have a wire with antenna.
third imei is generic like 44990000 don't know if have software missing.
i will buy today one i will try to see if will come alive signal.

Don't know where you're from but in my humble opinion, it would be safier to find a regular phone with broken lcd/digitizer, you can find some at very afordable prices, and transfer these pieces from your demo unit.

You won't have to play with fake imei this way (this can be dangerous depending where you live), and no problem with missing pieces...

Yes you are right. It is dangerous
This demo unit are beter to be sold for theyr display. Becouse display is cheaper than the rest of the phone. In Romania in Samsung service they will charge you for a good PCB almost like you are buying the phone again
