Has anyone successfully done and unlock of S8 G950U Tmobile? Any known way of achieving this as yet?

Well for now you can read the unlock code for T-Mobile but we need someone to find a way to enter the code.

Did you try to flash T-Mobile phone with At&t firmware ? At&t firmware will ask to put network unlock pin and AT&T are SM-G955u also.

Sorry your Mobile is SM-G950 not SM-G955.

How to change carrier:
1. Download Factory Binary, EngBoot, and the G950W firmware.
2. Turn off phone
3. Hold down on Bixby button + power + volume down
4. open Odin v3.12.7
5. add the Factory Binary to the AP section of Odin.
6. Plug your phone into your computer (NEEDS TO BE WINDOWS) with Odin open
7. Make sure your device is connected and recognized by Odin.
8. Click start.
9. One the phone reboots run the ADB command, adb reboot bootloader
10. Open modded Odin and flash the EngBoot
11. Click start
12. Once the phone reboots type the command adb reboot bootloader
13. Put the HOME_CSC of the G950W firmware into the CSC part of Odin (unmodded)
14. Click start
15. Open IME setting on Factory Binary
16. Type in *#243203855#
17. Select XAC
18. Click install
19. Wait for phone to reboot
20. Once it does open terminal and type in adb shell
21. Then type in echo "XXX" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat
22. Type in exit into adb shell
23. Type in adb reboot bootloader
24. Flash the G950U firmware of your choosing without Userdata. Also make sure to flash the non-home CSC
25. Enjoy your new carrier!

i try input unlock code by flash convert G955USQU1AQD9_G955UOYN1AQD9_USC and show enter unlock code , suscessful unlock code but invalid sim :mad:

Even if you flash G955USQU1AQD9_G955UOYN1AQD9_USC the CSC is still TMB. You probably need to try after changing the CSC to ATT and then try to unlock.

Will this solution work on G935T?

flash factory binary. then it will ask for unlock code.
Now it asking for unlock code. But i don't have unlock code.
I don't have access to post download link
type "ENG Boot + Root" in google. and get factory binary download link in xda.

Has anybody tried this? It would be remarkable if it works.

ACG is C-Spire a Sprint type service
LRA is LTE in Rural America a Verizon type service
GCF is some unknown roaming service


I think it would be better to do the carrier change first, and only then read the unlock code. Because if you read the code first on the original carrier, then the code may not work properly on the changed carrier.
So try to change to ATT carrier first, read the code, and enter code.
Report back please.
