I had lots of troubles unlocking this set. Mainly it does not support *#7284# for port setting. Followings are the settings & steps I used to get it unlocked. First of all you need to Root the set. Search for CFroot (CF-Auto-Root-jfltecan-jfltevl-sghi337m.zip)

1. *#9090# & set DM over UART
2. *#0808# & set AP then choose the option having "Modem + ADB" under AP
3. Start Samsung tool v17.2 with actual model
4. select new security in unlock options (see screen shot for detail)
5. Connect turned on set
6. Select exact com port out of 2 Samsung ports you got.
7. Click on "Unlock"

blang, still waiting for i8260 imei repair function. Please, it's a very common model so repair is needed. It was released in june 2013, so, why isn't it available yet? Thanks in advance

To Ionel.
Try repair network some times the modem insteuctions are corrupted by the unlocking sequence. This error is more common when you repair imei rather then unlocking. Anyway do like i said, the repairing stuff can be via samsung octopus by gsmserver or via z3x. Br.
