Member: 2309595 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 112 | To me, just flash CF auto root then unlock. Combination method is very safe but sometime the result it not always favorable (believe or not, somehow I got relock for G930P RV5 after combination method) But G920P is most likely out of warranty anyway so there is no need to care about Knox, Unless there is some special reason to keep Knox not tripped. For some other sprint phone like N910P you need to tun GCF and enable "Global" in order to make the GSM service work but with G920P I dont need to enable GCF but worth a try. Look around the forum for GCF enable. There is another way that easier than *#0011#. Hint, go setting/activation |

There are 3 ways to get into hidden menu mode. 1. Root the phone, then use a shortcut app like Quick Shortcut or Shortcut Master, search and run the code 27663368378 2. Insert a 520K or 620K diag cable (try them both), restart the phone then dial *#27663368378# 3. On Sprint phones only, go the Settings > Activation, press Vol Up 3 times, Vol Down 2 times which should kick you into PST mode, and select Diag mode. To set the GCF flag on, in the hidden menu go to UE Setting > Setting > Protocol > GCF > GSM/GPRS/WCDMA GCF ON, or simply write NV item 0x03B3 = 01 Enjoy! | |
