Member: 2076039 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 648 | Holy **** there's so much misinformation in this single thread. First off you CANNOT DOWNGRADE FROM 5.1.1. Stop trying to soft brick people's phones. Secondly, this is not an issue with the reactivation lock. This is a security measure by Samsung to stop CF-root. Thirdly, I'm pretty sure you cannot root with pingpong root for 5.1.1. Search around. It's been done on 5.1.1. With that said, you're not going to be able to repair the IMEI (unless you have the "patch" floating around). Search, search, and then search some more. I guarantee you, if you don't do your research you will most likely have a soft-brick that is difficult to recover from. |
