SM-G925A bootloop after resetting Efs.


hi.

History: the phone imei is 044xxxxxxxxx,try to repair by patching certificate but still not fix imei.

then my last action is reset Efs,after reboot the phone stuck on boot loop.

what happened..is this normal to that action or what ive done wrong.

downloading firmware is in progress..any comment or suggestion.

If you wiped the efs you probably wiped the DRK as well. If you backed up the original efs just write that back and you will be good to go. If you didnt backup the efs (which makes no sense since it takes literally 10 seconds to do) you will have to flash rom back without the cache partition included...that will allow you to boot up and then do DRK repair...you can also flash a root kernel and that should allow the phone to boot up so you can do DRK repair. What ever you do make sure you do not flash anything to do with the new PF1 rom or you will be screwed for now.

You can also try to flash the Eng Sboot file to it to get it to boot up.

yes i have back up of phone efs including cert file.

but my problem for now is the phone stuck on logo,cant detect tru dl mode to flash the bck up.

If you backed up original efs with z3x it was backed up in tar format. just flash that via odin.

Why cant you get into download..you should be able to do that from the samsung logo screen.

i flahed root file, now the phone boot up with imei 3500000000006.

you need to flash cert back then do a drk repair now. or go to z3x and write original efs back to phone.

the bck up efs and cert was only the file with imei of 044xxxxxx when i receive the phone.

trying to repair imei heres the log


REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:
Reset EFS:
Phone must be rooted!
If the software can't root the phone automatically,
then you must root your device manually.
1. Power on the phone.
2. Tap 7 times on 'Build number' in 'Settings'-'About phone' to enable 'Developer options',
go to 'Settings'-'Developer options' and enable 'USB debugging'.
3. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
4. Select device in ADB settings.
5. Press 'Reset EFS' if you need to reset it.
Be carefully, do not perform this without necessity. Backup will be created automatically.
6. If you have yellow table on your device screen, then press 'Disable Factory Mode' button.

tried to repair patch certificate but still same imei althoiugh it says patching done.

is there anybody have a back up of good certificate same for this model.

can i flash cert of g925f ?..because i think this fone is refurbish,g925f printed at the back of housing but the os says g925a.

wew...problem done.

i rewrite back up of efs (044xxxxxxx imei) and write certificate of g925f from other phone.

the phone now is working fine. a big thanks to all, markhaines1985 and to members trying to help me .
