i am just trying to unlock with 21.5 Exe.

But its require root.

Samsung Pro Tool 21.5 Exe support SM-G925T permanent direct unlock (without flashing any firmware) - first in the world

i am just getting confused. Permanent Direct unlock require any root ??
or this version is not supported for direct unlock.

I donot want to loss certificate or phone imei.
please suggest me without root this version is possible to direct unlock or not??
