SM-G930f patch cert imei repair need - GSM-Forum

Hi im a big time newbie and I have s7 g930f was all working fine till i lost root only emergency calls came up so i rooted phone again went to patch certificate imei it seem to go through as normal but wen the phone rebooted said no service instead of emergency calls only and no baseband or imei help thanks in advance .

Which tool u used for patch cert.? To get quickly hepl,Batter to move this post at same tool section.

I used zex box if that helps

you need reset efs first then write original nv data then repair imei
unknown baseband after reboot cause of none original nv data
if you dnt have original nv data of your phone contact me on skype i will try my best

Ok thank u for helping me i might have origanal nv data i have zex box wen i click on write nv data loads of files pop up like sm-g930f sm g935f etc .should I write the nv data ?? Thanks again

No need to flash EFS , just write MODEM from stock firmware and patch cert again,to avoid every time Unknown baseband issue,use old z3x ver.,coz new ver. Might have some bugs....

How i write modem and where i get stock modem from is it the CP file from stock firmware ???? Sorry I new to all this

I don't have option on my zex box to reset efs only read efs or write efs for s7 g930f ??

I've doing it i just downgraded to 6.0.1 everything fine now thank u everybody who helped me

I got same issue with g935fd. Afret reset EFS i get zero imei, but i dont have original nvdata

Can it be fixed somehow?

P.S. downgrading to 6.0.1 dosent change anything.

Download Factory Binary File for your model and 5 files firmware from z3x or from other sites.
Start phone in Download mode and install Factory Binary with help of Odin. once it flash complete. the phone will boot into factory binary mode. and will try to restore factory functions.
if it still show message "CP: uknown CP" then flash back to original firmware.

1. Root your Phone
2. Install Root Explorer and grant Super User Access
3. Open EFS folder and delete every thing Except "Factory App and prov_data"
4. Reboot your Phone, if it gives you some error, ignore its normal.
5. Flash Factory Binary firmware again, now it will restore everything to default regarding Modem.

if you can see your IMEI after this, flash your phone with original firmware and enjoy.

Hi i have z3x and i have s7 g930f on android 7.0 I have been unable to do repair as 7.0 not supported..does any one have a solution

Downgrade the phone to 6.0.1 but dont mess up your baseband in the process
