SM-P905V (unlock) bootloader doing phone calls - GSM-Forum

Hi @all, i have a customer here with Samsung SM-P905V from Verizon which is older than 2 years. Anyway Verizon and Samsung dont support to unlock the Bootloader. He wants to use the tablet with a european simcard. Because of the Verizon Software this is not possible, because the Verizon Firmware has not preinstalled the app the do phone calls.

The solution might be to unlock the bootloader and root the device in order to download and install the necessary apps. Rooting is afak not yet possible.

Does the unlock function in z3x unlock the bootloader as well? Or does anybody know how i can proceed to unlock the bootloader?

Conseguiu rootear esse tablet?

Acabei deixando atualizar para a versão 5.1.1 do android e a verizon bloqueou novamente o bootloader

. Conseguiu algum sucesso para desbloquear o bootloader e fazer o root funcionar? Caso sim, poderia por gentileza compartilhar?
