A few days ago I've done this tablet, root has been made with EFT Dongle (by modify original boot.img)

What is Android version on your tablet now? I downgraded mine to 6.0.1 (T587PVPU1API9) then rooted with EFT. Do you have EFT in hands?

You have to downgrade to 6.0.1 to get root. Check binary before downgrade.
