Solution! (SM-G550T1) Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock

Hi, guys! I had problem when I tried to root this phone (SM-G550T1), giving this error message: Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock and I tried to flash it but without success, I didn't find a solution on the internet for this and I spent a time on Z3X Box to check if it can save the phone, so I'm here to share with you what I did.

1 - put the phone in Download mode ( Volume down + Home + Power bottom)
2 - Select SM-G360T1 Model on the phone list
3 - Go to repair tab
4 - Wipe EFS/NVM and bingo
Good Luck
PS: You don't need to select adb port.


Operation: Wipe EFS/NVM
Selected model: SM-G360T1
Selected port: COM11 Z3X BOX Serial Port
Software version: 28.1

Searching Samsung USB Flash interface... COM9 detected
Setup connection... Ok
Reading PIT from phone... Ok
Wipe NVM done
Done with Samsung Tool PRO v.28.1

Thanks for your info, FRP Custom blocked happened on all SAMSUNG when you try to root or flash twrp without OEM on.

to fix this, just flash a newer stock and then login with gmail or bypass frp if you do not know .

Why would you perform wipe efs/nvm operation when you don't have backup?
This is risky solution and not safe.

The best method is boot phone into recovery mode and note down the phone's version
Download exact version or higher and flash.
You can flash AP file only or load any AP file version with z3x box and select only boot.img option and flash.
You will get your phone back and working
You can also flash only BL file if you have multiple firmware. You will still get your phone back

Thanks for your reply, I tried all methods that you told above and none worked for me, the only way that I found that work is wipe EFS/NVM.

Next time, you can as well perform 'read pit' operation and tool will boot your phone to normal after pit read. no need to wipe efs

First step, flash the correct versión of software...dont update the version, I think U are try to bypass FRP Lock, after that is done...is only the FRP blocking the root file, without the OEM unlock checked
