[Solved] i9505 4.3 imei repair lost network (paperboy101) - GSM-Forum

Posting this for paperboy101 ...

*** PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR Android 4.3 NOT 4.4.2 (i'm still working on solution for 4.4.2) ***

ANDROID 4.3 (nz telecom rom) PREP (worked)

flashed this "modem.bin" from previous :Aishur:
flashed recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.7
Flashed root CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar

1) plugged in uart 3300k cable to z3x box enter *#7284# made sure pda selected (default) then unplugged uart.
2)*#9090# and choose DM\DUM over HS-USB.
3) During Phone restart plugged in micro Usb to phone and Z3X BOX
4) Read info on correct port (old security)

Selected model: I9505
Selected port: COM3 SAMSUNG Mobile USB Serial Port
Selected port speed: 115200
Reading phone info...
Build: M9615A-CEFWTAZM-4.0.17062
Done with Samsung Tool v.17.2

Repair Imei

Selected model: I9505
Selected port: COM3 SAMSUNG Mobile USB Serial Port
Selected port speed: 115200
Repairing IMEI... OK
Reseting... OK
Repair done
Done with Samsung Tool v.17.2
