This is actually for G935A (inside the rar). G935P hangs on logo when flashed with this file.

lol all US carrier g935 are same phone, same hardware. this file works on g935p even though A model in description. don't let that confuse you. here are steps to get it to work from your hang screen.

-flash stock to repair phone
-enter recovery mode
-wipe data/factory reset
-immediately choose "reboot to bootloader"
-flash combination provided
-unlock with box of choice
-flash stock again to repair
-profit

That combo works on all qualcomm us phones, what the heck are you talking about. Are you from this world?

You are absolutely correct and this worked on the first try.
I expected the combination file to factory reset automatically as I've seen it do it on other models before. Thanks for the help!!
