Put phone into download mode
Flash MDC Modem => SPH-L720_MDC_Modem - Download - 4shared - Sebert Dinnall
change usb settings to dm+modem+adb [*#0808#]
change service settings to uart [*#9090#]
connect usb select bottom port in dropdown list and unlock
reflash 4.4.2 modem/firmware [not really really neccesary]
can take the modem file out of firmware found here: Firmware archive | Samsung Updates
done.

Check the network settings is automatic/gsm selected?

hello guys i also have the same issue i did everything even flash back to stock and nothing still no service or any bars on a diff sim.. please help! it said unlock worked but no service using newest of shell 17.4 any ideas where i went wrong ?

Check your imei may be black listed.

Download the 4.4.2 firmware and reflash u should be ok

i already flashed it to stock rom again and still not working ? says only sprint network and i get bars..but when i switch it to gsm in settings it just gets no bars with a x over them .... should i flash it again ? i already did factory resets etc...

i also downloaded mine from sammobile firmwares ? any idea if this could be it ? or no ?
