Very important info about cert and qcn


Blang sir,
I want to ask
1.does cert are only to one phone or they are
Portable from one to another
Or depend on same hardware (same baseband)

2. What is qcn ,i have read that if we make
Non provisonal qcn then device will be unlocked

Please answer
Will help in killing many myths
So we can use our z3x box with great productivity

If you have one cert file, you can write as many phones you want. If you mean if different models are compatible the answer is NO, each model has its own certificate file (or digital sign), however same model can share the same certificate.
Respect QCN, it ONLY has the information referred to network parameters and values, NOT simlock data (it's like setting am/fm and frequency in a stereo radio, if you dont set these values, you can not listen what you want. In this case, you will not get 2/3/4G signal).
PD: I think Blang was very clear many times, even there are a couple of threads regarding those questions.

I don't know if it is what you wanted to hear (read ), but hope it helps.
