z3x bot not found winxp vmware - GSM-Forum

hi guys

i bought z3x box. everything works well except that it says z3x box not found. and GetFTDevicedescription-Invalid handle...

in device manager everything is ok.

i tried everything what should i do

is there no one how can help me. i did google for the answer and even on this forum. maybe i should an older version of shell for windows xp

did you install the drivers from the shell?
The box works well on XP, it can be drivers problem

What are you using Laptop or desktop? it works best if you keep it connected in one port,
if it is a desktop use the port at the back and make sure windows update is on.
Install shell and use it to search for drivers. you can PM me if needed to

How install, activate, downloas software. Manual rev.19.10.2008

Download setup,drivers:
1. Download z3x-box setup (drivers, shell): http://z3x-team.com/Enabler/z3x-shell.exe
2. Run z3x-shell.exe.

Setup box and card drivers:
4. Connect Z3X-Box to PC
5. Install Z3X-box Drivers from folder x:\Program Files\z3x\Box drivers\
6. Install Z3X-box Drivers from folder x:\Program Files\z3x\Card drivers\

Activation and registration:

don't use ! @ # $ % ^ and any special letter in password - because that is a problem with login from wizzard.

7. Run Z3X-Shell
8. Click "Card" in Z3X_Shell. Wizard will start.
9. Will make all steps from wizard.

Download necessary main software:
10. Click "Goto Support" button from Shell and download necessary software.
11. Install downloaded exe.

Run.
12. Choice phone model from list and click "Start"

this mean box drivers not installed.
you need connect box and setup FTDI drivers.

i managed to get a tutorial to setup the drivers correctly, meaning it must show Z3X usb serial driver in device manager. i have the z3x preactivated box from gsm server.

i want to use windows xp. i think i do not use the lcorrect driver for that box and operatng system because it still cant see the box

which ftdi driver must i use
