Member: 1795462 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 8 | Z3x box not detecting phone!! Plz help me!! I have recently purchased my Z3X box, i followed all the procedures of setting it up. Downloaded ZX3 Shell, installed drivers as instructed and downloaded phone drivers (also installed Kies). I have tried on four diffent OS... My problem is that when i connect my phone (n7000 Galaxy note) to the z3x box using the samsung tool via usb cable, i click on read info and i get the following: Count supported models - 309 Searching Samsung USB Modem... Not Found Done with Samsung Tool ver 12.5 but when i connect the phone directly to my computer then i get the follwing: Searching Samsung USB Modem... Detected (COM5) Model: GT-N7000 SW: N7000XXKJ4 IMEI: 3595750486xxxxx Done with Samsung Tool ver 12.5 Im trying to repair IMEI but all i get is the same error 'Searching Samsung USB Modem... Not Found' Could it be a problem with my drivers or could it be the firmware on my phone? i am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit Please please get back in touch as i have spent 3 days and 3 nights trying to configure this.. Much appreciated! |

Member: 1388004 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1637034 Thanks Meter: 444 | First, always connect phones directly to computer, no hub or switch or box (except rj45 but I speak for usb here) Then, try to repair efs first, then change imei. Anyway, post full log of your tries so we can see clearer what you did and how we can help. BR |

Member: 1388004 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1637034 Thanks Meter: 444 | what is wrong with imei ? seems regular on your first post ? did you enable usb debugging on phone ? Saw on other post that you might have success with v11.9 of tool. Maybe you need also to flash your phone. |

Btw, general info for you, when you use unlocking boxes, vista is not a good choice. Try to find an other pc with xp sp3, no antivirus, no firewall, and you will use this computer only for unlocking purposes. So you will avoid many compatibility problems with all the craps we all install on main pc |
