For some time I had problems with the new updates of z3x which, at the time of selecting the adb pig, the program is frozen and defrosted until I disconnect the cell phone, the drivers are fine and with the octopus it works well, it should be noted that when I return to the oldest version if it detects the adb port but I can't use the credits

first the adb box is blank and then the entire program is frozen, that happens with version 39.6 and 39.7 but when under version 37.0 there if i recognize the adb.

the problem is that with version 37 you cannot use the credits

I don't understand what it shows me in the picture and what it says about my operating system, the problem does not occur with all models only with some

You have to describe your problem in normal way, not as you did here. Where is the phone model? From your screenshots no one is able to see whats happening in the program, even with microscope.

problem for old models example i9100 i9300 android 4.1.2 and android 4.3 new models problem not but old models problem program not answer when connected old phone (i9300 i9100 i8160 sHV-120l) program frozen, when i disconnect program will working this video for you and z3x users https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz0pO3lQPFo

It's mostly like incompatibility Win10 and [old] Samsung Drivers smell ...
Me currently faced same problem yesterday when try to flash Galaxy 5 [GT-i5500] - it's 10 years old phone and have no idea about Win 10 x64 - the original Odin MultiDownloader 4.2x

cannot see it under Win 10, even Z3x see the ADB itself...

The hint is - try to clean up drives tree -> Device Remover is a simply and free utility for example. Install latest one Samsung drivers and check connected phone how appear in device manager.

Repeat operations with Z3x.

i am using win7 same problem..other programs working well even furious pack12... still using version37 z3x
ver39xx pc frozen even time cant use credits
