I am having a problem with this repair. I installed the Combination firmware in order to root the phone. I did the repair and patched certificate on the Combination Firmware. the phone picks up signal and all. But when I install the original firmware, the phone IMEI becomes "NEG" and the phone does not connect to the network with "Emergency Calls ONLY". Any suggestions??

I solved my problem. Instead of writing the IMEI myself and patching it, I when to the "Repair" tab and clicked on the "Write Cert". I picked the right file and the phone was repaired and picked up signal even after original firmware was restore.

PS: If you do not have a "Cert File" for a N920A, you can write your own patch it, and when you are doing the original firmware restoration "DO NOT UPGRADE THE MODEM" so the phone can still work even after the original firmare restoration. Keep in mind that the phone is going to loose the patch if the modem is upgraded or changed in any way.

If this was helpfull for you, PLEASE CLICK THE THANK YOU BUTTON! :-))
