Blackberry 8110 mepp2?

Hi.I got my unlock code,but can't get downmenu,with mepp2 on?
I folowed instruction,but come just till meppd and lockmenu,not accepted mep(p)2??
Should we have worked sim card inside to activate this menu??

try with sim inside. when you are in sim card menu, type mep than ALT button than 2

or

mepp than ALT button than 2

it will ask to enter mep code. put unlock code and press joystick.

Oh,its done,not so easy on my vodafone 8110,but its finished.....THANKS !!!!!
