C530 permanently locked message - GSM-Forum

Hi mates!. I received a pantech C530 AT&T with next message with non AT&T simcard: ¨PERMANENTLY LOCKED The incorrect unlock code was entered 5 times. This phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked¨, so my question is how fix this and then send code request to server.

It is a Windows Mobile 6.1 as i saw the review. So you can upgrade or reinstall the OS to reset the counter.

have C530 that is user /password locked . please help

i reckon this only applicable to Pantech DUO not Pantech Slate (C530). could not find firmware update for Pantech Slate (C530)
