Hi i know this sounds like a noobie question but i have an iphone thats locked to Orange France. It has not been activated by the original sim.

If i purchase an unlock, would i be able to activate it with the new non supported sim?

Do i need original orange france sim to activate?

Since you have locked on orange, pay the unlock, try whith your sim card, if not than go and find orange sim card somewhere..

other option i dont see..

if you sure about your phone came from network no need orig. sim just process in to the server and put any sim activate done no sweat...
