If I unlock my LG U400 with gsmfather will it work with simcards from North America and the caribbean since this is a 3G phone that originally uses a 128kb sim card and the ones from North America and the Caribbean are 64 and 32kb?

you cannot unlock u400 as there is no method to put unlock code successfully in u400.
