I need a procedure to entry a unlock code a Blackberry 8130

Blackberry 81xx

1. While on the home screen, click the settings icon
2. click the options icon
3. select advanced options
4. Select Sim Card
5. Type mepp2 to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code (Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing )
6. Input the SIM Unlock code
7. Press in the trackball in once

If you are able to go to "SIM CARD" menu than try any one of below to be able to put unlock code.


1. type mepp than ALT than 2
2. type mep than ALT than 2
3. Hold ALT and type MEPE

Anyone from above shuould be able to bring a new window to enter code.
