I unlocked a t-Mobile G1 today but I cant make any calls because there is a registration/activation screen. How do I by pass this so I can use this phone on none t-mobile network?

If U Unlock This Then U Can Use Any Network. I Can't See This Phone Untill Now So Can't Tell U How To Fix This.

Simply register for a Gmail account and you can login and register the handset.

Can someone help me to register my G1 on Google to finished the unlocking process? I was doing the registration but I cant get to connect to the google server since I cant access the menu to turn on the WIFI.

If u're network supports gprs/edge then u have a chance of registering. When the android appears n tells u to touch> then Create New User/ Existing User>just click on Menu> APN> then configure the settings according to the network > press back then try to register... Good Luck

Thanks for trying to help, but thats a dead case now. Customer took phone. I was unable to activate it.
