About unlocking N95 8G

In GsmFather client software, there is a message of N95 8G Read full PM with Jaf before input unlock code. What is the meaning? I know little about hardware or related knowledge.

I have a N95 8G on vodafone need to unlock. So Could you tell me the detailed procedure to unlock N95 8G? Thanks a lot. I worry there will be some error when unlocking.

so take as many back ups as u can or u will loose ur N95

it is because some customer reported us that when they tried input unlock code it shows "wrong code" and when they check counter with software it shows "0" that means it is never tried. while they tried code. So in case of problem you can write back the PM and restore the phone to original state, if you have backup. and Full PM backup with JAF only recommended.

Do you mean
first backup the PM files, if there is something wrong, then rewrite these files into the phone using the JAF to original state?
However we have not the hardware JAF BOX.
Can NNS do this work?

yes first take the backup of pm. i am not sure about NSS will work fine for this purpose. Someone who tried before reported me that only the Backup which he made with JAF restored the phone counter successfully.
