Member: 523332 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 273 | 3g , error 1002 solution first if any 1 here found this tread useful please juste press thanks button, no need to spend more space in this forum,but fore more explanation you R welcome. ok let us go: you will need: 1- redsnow 0.9.6b5 2-itunes 10.1.0.56 3-and custom FW for 3g i guess you can find all of theme,but for FW better download from here: https://rapidshare.com/files/4349623...m_Restore.ipsw -connect your 3g in dfu mode or recovery mode and update it with original 4.2.1 from apple. -it will end with error 1002.ok dont worry. lunch redsn0w and,and,and please follow this :TICK CYDIA AND INSTAL IPAD BASEBAND,click next till the end of the process ,your 3g will show jailbreak and updating bundles etc..but juste waittill the end .and your 3g will reboot in recovery mode .DONT DISCONNECT THE PHONE FROM THE PC. close redsnow and lunch itunes press SHIFT and browse to the CUSTOM FW.wait till it end and Voila no error,juste fine. ps: take out the sim card from the phone during process. and error 1002 means that you have no choice ,So juste try it and good luck all members. |

Member: 1474552 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Iphone 3g 4.2.1 keeping rebooting:-( Hello my iphone 3g have updated to 4.2.1 with error 1002, and since I have jailbrak it with redsnow 6b5 but now looking for the signal and after 2 minutes it restarts, etc. is also no wifi, bluetooth, no IMEI Nor do you think is the hardware? solution thanks :-( |

Member: 1545361 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you. Worked perfectly on bricked iphone 3G 8GB I bought off ebay. You have to use a regular FW for Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 and then the custom for the itunes restore. WIFI works fine. Have not tried a SIM yet. Muchas Gracious |
