3g ipad bb unlk on its own? no wifi soft? - GSM-Forum

today i received a 3g for unlocking and it was in recovery mode ... so i dont know what software it had or anything since i recieved it in recovery mode .

so i flashed it to 3.1.3 to see the modem firmware maybe i can unlock it without installing ipad BB and when it flashed it didnt want to exit recovery mode so i exited recovery mode with TinyUm .

after i exited recovery mode iphone powered up fine and needed activation ... so i inserted a sim card and connected it to Itunes & when i connected it itunes Displayed " Congrats your iphone has been unlocked " so i was happy that some1 paid to unlock the fone with apple , i then went into setting and found out it has Ipad BB ( 6.15.00 ) , im like WTF ? who the hell pays for unlocking and installs ipad BB ?

Also i noticed that WIfi doesnt work , it doesnt find any wifi ! i also noticed if u click on maps it enters maps fine but displays "cannot aquire your position" or something similiar ... as far as i know if u have ipad BB and click on maps it wouldnt loads maps programme it would crash . right ?

tried flashing with 4.2.1 (maybe it solves wifi issue), flashed and gave error 1015 at end .. so exited recovery with TinyUM but it remains in recovery mode . any ideas ?

flashed again to 3.1.3 and gave error 1015 but tinyumb exited recovery mode fine ... now wifi is greyed out and u cant click on it . before u could have clicked on it but wouldnt find any wifi's .

flashed to 4.2.1 and tried to exit recovery with Ireb but it doesnt help .... neither with TinyUmbrella . any ideas ?

4.2.1 need to update baseband to power up..use 4.1 or 3.1.3 or use custom FW 4.2.1

i cant update BB caz it already has ipad BB 6.15.00 . i just got 4.2.1 custom firmware ill try flash with that .

in mean time i flashed with 4.0 ofw ( caz have shsh ) and it flashed fine , gave 1015 error but exited fine with tinyumb ... still have wifi greyed out problem !

tried to flash
iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Custom_Restore
but get error 1601 !

flashed 4.0.1 ( OFW ) & still have NO WIFI! tried to Softreset (powerbutton+home) but it didnt help also . im clueless how to get this wifi working !

To flash a custom recovery (without BB) you need to put your iphone in pwned dfu mode with Redsn0w.

No mate, with the ipad BB 06.15 the wifi is working fine.

i know i done loads of 3g with ipad bb and never had wifi probs .. but on forum i read about this problem with ipad bb . ill find link and post it
