3G no service after unlock.. - GSM-Forum

hi guys,

i have an 3G which shows "No service " after few minutes of searching..

i did all the possibilities,,,,

1. downgraded to 3.1.3 and jailbreaked thru redsnow and unlocked using ultrasn0w

2. downgraded to 3.1.2 and unlocked thru "blacksn0w"

3. upgraded to 4.0.1 and jailbreaked with jailbreakme and unlocked thru ultrasn0w

4. upgraded to 4.0 and jailbreaked thru redsn0w and unlocked thru "no wifi method"

5. tryed instead of ultrasn0w used sinfuliphonerepo and installed ultrasn0w..

6. open the set and seen hardware damages..

7. have seen any turbo sim inbuilted....(no)

too tired.... any help...from experts...pls

but the thing i have noticed is...after installing the " ultrasn0w" it should say "Reboot device " ...but in my case it says " reboot to Springboard"

i think the phone is played by some other guys too...

also i replaced the LOCKDOWN .....coz showed me "Different SIM detected"

is there any more idea due to this....?

Man, are you sure that it's software problem? with original sim card it have network?

no service after unlock with 3.0 3.12 3.1.3 4.0 4.0.1.....

hardware is ok

dont take my advice easy , just try it and might work

on another PC download and install latest itunes from apple
( download fresh from internet don't use the file you already have )

and download OS4.0.1 from the internet again
( download fresh from internet don't use the file you already have )

restore your phone to 4.0.1 and do jailbreakme.com and ultrasnow .

and see what happens.

i had the same problem and solved with this method

1. After jailbreaking, launch Cydia
2. Go to manage/sources, tap edit/add
3. type cydia.pushfix.info/ , add source
4. tap done, browse newly added source Pushfix.info
5. choose Hacktivation Patch (lockdownd), install
6. done.

or
manually replace "lock down" folder from this location "private\var\root\Library"
with provided ziped folder & set permission 644 with winscp

Replace GSM PA , it will solve your problem . many IP 3G damage it .
