3G on recovery mode


dear sir,

i have 3g 8gb iphone. i cant check Software version, boot rom version and base band, because the phone in recovery mode. i try to restore
with 4.2.1, 4.1, 3.1.3 and custom 4.1.2, 4.1 as well. when restore with itune
it says "preparing iphone for restore" and after 5 minutes error come "1603"

pls help me im new for iphone.

Yes same here....trying to restore the phone with 4.2.1,4.1 also try with customs firmware but after five minute got error 3194,1015.......?

You must edit the HOSTS file..

you find this in:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com <-------DELETE this
........


DELETE all IP ENTRYs from Apple (you must have admin rights!)

then try again to restore FW.

OR:
use TinyUmbrella and activate TSS server..

remove hosts and then flash it with custom FW4.1
