3gs 4.2.1 to 4.1 sucessful story - GSM-Forum

for all who dont save youre shsh with tinyumbrella and have iphone stuck in recovery mode 4.2.1 BB 06.15 .00 and try to restore youre iphone to 4.1 and get error 3194

1:restore or flash the iphone to 4.2.1 with itunes
2: iREB-4.0.x-4.1-RC2
OPEN IREB 3GS BUTON DFU MOD
3: tinyumbrella-4.21.01
OPEN UMBRELLA START TSS SERVER:
4: ITUNES SIFHT+ RESTORE
OPEN 3GS 4.1 FIRMVARE :iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore
Restore DONE 1015 ERROR PHONE DFU MOD
start recboot hit exit recovery done
now only unlock it with redsnow select only instal cydia and enjoy ur unlocked untethered iphone 4.1 BB 06.15.0
after that if no network then unlock it with no wifi unlocker or copy the 2 files 1:mobilesubstrate_0.9.3367-1_iphoneos-arm.deb & 2:ultrasn0w.deb
with the help of iFunBox.exe to "iPhone\private\var\root\Media\Cydia\ and put these 2 files in your "AutoInstall" now restart 2 times....
& if no folder exist then creat the folder Cydia & AutoInstaller

OMG!!! Just Use IREB!!.... And Then Use Custom Restore 4.2.1/4.1 And Dont Forget **Just Boot Tethering**Or Use The New Redsn0w For Permanent Jailbreak

Yeah Its Already Out But Only For MAC Users Windows Users Have To Wait...
the New redsn0w For MAC User Uses Untethering That Means permanent jailbreak ...

This will not work if you dont have your shsh files saved

On step 4:

Are you sure restore done with offically 4.1 firmware if baseband of current unit is 6.15 ? ?

downgrade 4.2.1 to 4.1 6.15 always result in dfu
so its not a successfull
