3gs 4.2.1 stuck in recovery - ipad firmware please help guys - GSM-Forum

Hi guys , i have a 3Gs It was previously unlocked and on ipad firmware (4.2.1) , however the customer updated and now its stuck in recovery mode , i cannot update as its in ipad firmware - and i cannot do custom fimware on 4.2.1 as 4.3.1 is out , is 4.3.1 custom fimware exist ? if so can somebody please post

run tinyumbrella

get SSH for 4.1. Start the server. Start itunes. Restore with 4.1. Continue the activation and unlock as usual.

should work.

Get sn0wbreeze, and use baseband preservation mode. You should be able to restore to 4.1. or 4.2

Just for the record, it is not on ipad firmware, only the baseband is from the iPad

I open program and get

the program cant start because zlib1.ddl is missing

Please help ??

Try sn0wbreeze. You may have to kick it out with iReb once you are done.

Make sure you use the ipsw created by sn0wbreeze when you restore with iTunes. If my memory serves me right, it is located on the desktop.

Thanks guys just fixed it - anybody whoes got one with same faults i done this

downloaded stock 4.1.3 3gs file
downloaded snowbreeze
made custom fimrware
and then restored
after restore - downloaded cydia with new redsnow
then unlocked

now have untethered jailrbrekon and unlocked 3gs running 4.3.1 bb 06.15
